At our project at La Gualda Vecchia and Selvaticum Atelier, prices do not just represent the cost of an experience: they reflect a network of value and ethical commitment that we aim to promote, protect, and grow. This is why our prices must be sustainable for both us and the quality we offer.
1. Economic Sustainability and Investment in the Future
Managing and maintaining the hospitality facilities, the emotional garden, and the woodland structures requires resources and constant care. Our goal is to offer authentic experiences, immersed in the nature and beauty of the place, and to do so, prices must cover not only current costs but also allow for future investments. This enables us to improve our offerings, keep every space in optimal condition, and continuously innovate.
2. Ethics and Value Network
We believe in building a community based on deep values, and this implies care for those who collaborate with us and for the materials we use. We do not want to cut corners on quality or wages: we pay every collaborator fairly, often rounding up, and we choose local suppliers who share our attention to the environment, work ethics, and social responsibility. This approach is not the cheapest, but we prefer to do fewer things and do them well, maintaining a philosophy of sustainability and positive impact.
3. A Quality Experience and Individual Attention
Lowering prices would mean increasing the number of participants, but this is not possible for two fundamental reasons. The first is logistical: our spaces, such as the yurt and the facilities, are designed for a limited number of people. The second is quality: more participants would mean less individual attention, and our philosophy is to offer a curated and authentic experience for everyone, with the right amount of time and space.
A New Perspective: Differentiated Tickets for an Inclusive Community
To make experiences more accessible, we are considering introducing three types of tickets for our events:
- Standard Ticket – for those who can pay the full price and support the project.
- Reduced Ticket – for those facing financial difficulties, still allowing participation.
- Generous (or Patron) Ticket – for those who can and wish to contribute more, enabling others to participate through their generosity.
We hope that this pricing policy and the transparency of our approach can help you understand how every experience at La Gualda Vecchia is the result of a “value chain.” Every ticket, every experience, supports an ethical and respectful project, and we are grateful to those who understand its value and help us carry it forward.
