Podere La Gualda Vecchia si trova a Monteverdi Marittimo, tra la Costa degli Etruschi e le Colline Metallifere, circondato da boschi e colline a pochi chilometri dal mare.
In Aereo
- Aeroporto Internazionale di Pisa (PSA) – 90 km, circa 1h15 in auto
- Aeroporto di Firenze (FLR) – 140 km, circa 2h in auto
- Aeroporto di Roma Fiumicino (FCO) – 250 km, circa 3h in auto
Da tutti gli aeroporti è possibile noleggiare un’auto oppure organizzare un transfer privato.
In Treno
- Stazione di Donoratico-Castagneto Carducci – 25 km
- Stazione di Campiglia Marittima – 30 km
Dalle stazioni principali consigliamo bus, un transfer privato o il noleggio auto per raggiungerci comodamente.
In Auto
- Da Pisa: circa 1h15 (SS1 Aurelia fino a Donoratico, poi direzione Monteverdi Marittimo)
- Da Firenze: circa 2h (superstrada FI-PI-LI fino a Cecina, poi SS1 Aurelia)
- Da Roma: circa 3h (A12 Roma–Civitavecchia, poi SS1 Aurelia)
La strada che porta a La Gualda Vecchia attraversa paesaggi autentici di campagna e macchia mediterranea: una parte dell’esperienza che introduce alla quiete del luogo.

Wonderful experience in an enchanting place and the owners are truly kind and cheerful, I say, very cheerful.
We were kindly welcomed by the owner of the estate, she explained to us all the plants and the emotional journey, the artisan workshop and then they offered us coffee and water flavored by a plant in the garden! It's worth the trip 🩷
Truly magical place, surrounded by nature, with great attention to detail, in the garden everything is refined and never banal.
I participated in a yoga event that took place in the beautiful yurt located in a hidden corner of the garden.
The teacher Gaia enhanced the beauty of the context through an intense and, at the same time, practice within everyone's reach.

Found by chance, it was a really nice surprise. A delightful person and a place where you can breathe a good and generous atmosphere. From an outdoor shower you can view that panorama visible in one of the photos posted. I would have liked to stay there overnight, unfortunately I missed that there was even this possibility. Savoring a suspended time by stopping in the "slightly zen" areas that characterize them was brief but regenerating. I'll be back, this time to stay a few days. I recommend visiting the laboratory with Bruna's creations. Thanks for your smiles, Silvia

Non c’è un angolo, un dettaglio che non sia stato oggetto di cura di Bruna e Daniel. La stessa cura che rivolgono ai loro ospiti.
Il bilocale che ci ha ospitato è caldo per temperatura e accoglienza. Sono mille i particolari dalle lenzuola al fuoco del cammino, dalle tazze della colazione ai saponi del bagno.
Che dire del percorso benessere che abbiamo goduto sotto le stelle…

There isn't a corner, a detail that hasn't been taken care of by Bruna and Daniel. The same care they take for their guests.
The two-room apartment that hosted us is warm in terms of temperature and hospitality. There are a thousand details from the sheets to the fire in the path, from the breakfast cups to the soaps in the bathroom.
What about the wellness program that we enjoyed under the stars…

Un luogo meraviglioso, di pace e completa immersione nella natura.
Bruna e la sua famiglia sono stati molto accoglienti fin dall’inizio, curando ogni dettaglio e facendoci sentire a casa.
Noi eravamo un gruppo di 5 ragazze per l’addio al nubilato di una di noi, consiglio questo luogo anche per coppie, famiglie o momenti da sé.
La Piazza dell’Acqua che consiste in sauna, idromassaggio e docce aromatizzate contribuisce a quell’atmosfera di rilassamento con una vista stupenda sulla vallata e i boschi.
Bruna ci ha anche aiutati a organizzare una classe di yoga con l’istruttrice Gaia che è stata veramente la ciliegina sulla torta del nostro soggiorno.
Ci ritornerei sicuramente per condividere la bellezza di questo posto con il mio compagno.
Grazie ancora Bruna e a tutta la famiglia!

Siamo giunti in questo bed&breakfast in occasione di un evento organizzato dalla struttura in Agosto 2022. Una serata di musica brasiliana sapientemente suonata e cantata dal vivo. La serata si prestava ad essere organizzata all'aperto e così è stato. L'occasione è stata propizia per ammirare il bellissimo giardino realizzato da un architetto del paesaggio che ha saputo ricreare dei percorsi sensoriali utilizzando piante e arbusti locali e semplici. La vista sulle colline è altrettanto deliziosa. La struttura, di recente ristrutturazione, è bella e invita a trascorrervi piacevoli giornate. L'evento è stato accompagnato da un rinfresco che abbiamo altrettanto apprezzato. Consigliatissimo!
Un posto magico: se amate la natura e la tranquillità che solo la campagna toscana può donare dovete assolutamente fare un soggiorno a La Gualda Vecchia. Qui potrete ricaricarvi di energie positive ed essere coccolati da Bruna, la padrona di casa, che mette in tutto ciò che fa una cura ed un amore incredibili e sa accogliere gli ospiti come nessun'altro. Inoltre da poco la struttura ospita anche eventi musicali e culturali nel bellissimo anfiteatro e delle sessioni di yoga. Degna di lode anche la posizione invidiabile della Gualda Vecchia: a soli 20 minuti di macchina potete andare al mare nelle meravigliose spiaggie di San Vincenzo o Donoratico. Visitate questo piccolo paradiso!
Splendido podere in stile toscano immerso nel verde e nella tranquillità. Merita soprattutto per il grande giardino emozionale che circonda la struttura, in particolare "La Piazza dell'acqua" con jacuzi e sauna con invidiabile vista sulle colline. Bruna, la proprietaria, è una persona squisita che sa accogliere con attenzione e cura i suoi ospiti.
Un'oasi di pace in cui sicuramente tornerò se ne avrò l'occasione.

We visited it first in October, then we went back in December.
Bruna made us feel immediately home.
All details are made to make you forget about your problems, and even forget why you went there, because your senses will be so estimulated that your perception of different things will appear.
Definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful experience surrounded by nature, with some fantastic places in the neighbourhood, like Sassella.
Bruna helps a lot to create an “home atmosphere” with her true enthusiasm and welcoming mood.
The Podere has been like “rebuild from scratch” in its insides maintaining the original furniture and all the different appliances belonging to the typical Tuscany style mixed with some cool design stuffs (like some glasses or lights).
Last but not the least, additional to being in a very quiet and relaxing place, you have the sea at 15/20 minutes (a source of joy if you have kids) and the chance to try the fantastic local food and wine (Bolgheri is very close).
In a nutshell, the perfect place to turn off the city daily stress!

We had an amazing time staying at Podere La Gualda Vecchia, feeling inspired every day by the breathtaking views and the nearness to nature. The tasteful decoration and furniture, handcrafted in locally sourced materials, is not only pleasurable to the eye, but soothing to the soul, and accentuated by the scent of precious woods and flowers. We found a refuge here for finding closure and inner peace. With the privacy from having separate bathrooms and balconies for each bedroom, and with a large shared living room and kitchen, the apartments are ideal for families with grown up children as ours, or for a group of friends. The host family went out of their way to ensure us a pleasant stay and they were very knowledgeable about the area and helpful. In addition to exploring the unique nature and nearby sights, we went every day swimming in the ocean. There are many white sand beach options available close by, we were especially happy with the great facilities and service at the Shangri-La. All in all, we all had a wonderful and memorable stay at the Podere La Gualda Vecchia, we recommend it warmly and we are already looking forward to return again soon.
